Luke 16:1-8. Irresponsible Steward.

We are called to give an account to God.

Bring in the account. I hear that you are not a responsible steward.
We are accountable for all our free actions. If we are wasteful with God’s property we will be punished.  And God will punish those who bury talents.
(We need to plan wisely with foresight.)

It is heard of King Frederick of Germany. One day he went to visit a jail in his country. He went around and asked all of them their crime. All of them except one said they were all innocent and they landed there because of somebody else’s fault. But one person said he stole from another person and that is why he was there. The king said him be freed from the jail. He said it is not fair that a criminal should stay with all the other innocent people.
If they had accepted and owned up their faults, they would have been freed by the king.  We are responsible for our actions. If we had the freedom to say “yes” or “no” then we have the responsibility for our actions. We should say yes to good and no to bad.

Adam and Eve shoved their responsibility to each other. Adam said, Eve gave the apple to him and Eve said the Snake trapped her. They had the freedom to say no to the enticement of the Satan but they did not.
